Director of Music

Born in Plymouth, Rosemary's early career was in Publishing and in Radio and Television broadcasting. She studied Organ with Dr Harry Moreton of St. Andrew's Church, Plymouth, and singing with Charles Kennedy Scott at Trinity College, London.

Married, with four daughters, Rosemary, as a mature student, gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music and Education from Exeter University.

Formerly Head of Music at St. Dunstan's Abbey School for Girls and Devonport High School for Girls, Rosemary now teaches Voice Production and Singing in Kingsbridge.

She is also Organist of St. Edmund's Church, Kingsbridge, and Director of Music of the Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir and recently retired as MD of the Stanborough Chorus in Kingsbridge.

Rosemary's long-standing interest in composition and arrangement enables the choir to incorporate in their repertoire pieces written specially and exclusively for them.
